My Studio Space
I use www.smugmug.com for my photos and they are the absolute best. You can find all my photos at http://chriswilliams.smugmug.com all of them are for sale either as a download or as prints. I started out shooting my kids sports teams and travel. In 2009 I took classes at NESOP with the intent to expand my skills. First I took a class taught by Lace Keimig http://www.thenightskye.com/index.html and focused on night time photography (fantastic teacher, learned a ton and really enjoy shooting at night). I took another class in portrait photography which was ok but not as good as the night shooting class. I’ve taken what I learned and have started to shoot at FNS Studios in Springfield MA. Shooting sports and travel is really great but you are not challenged by working with your subject. More you need to know what will happen or where to be to get the shot. Working with another person and directing them to create an image that is compelling adds great dimension to photography.
If you are interested in portraits or some other style of picture please feel free to contact me about setting up a shoot. I am happy to provide my time for free in order to develop my skills. All I ask is your purchase the images you like through me. In April 2010 I joined a group studio. There are 20 photographers using the space.
